Henno AI is the trading name of SIDEQUEST LABS (PTY) LTD, a company registered in South Africa under registration number , based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Henno Fourie is the founder and director of SIDEQUEST LABS (PTY) LTD. In this document "we", "us" and "our" refer to SIDEQUEST LABS (PTY) LTD.
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use henno.ai or work with us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Information we collect
We collect the following, and only when you give it to us or when it is created by ordinary use of the website:
- Information you send us. Your name, email address, phone number, business name and whatever else you choose to include when you email us, submit a form, or start a conversation in the chat widget on this site.
- Information from working together. If you become a client, the business information you share with us so that we can audit and automate your workflows.
- Website usage data. Aggregated, privacy-friendly analytics about page visits, collected through Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. We use this to understand which pages are useful.
- Information you enter into the tools on this site. The calculators and quizzes under Free Tools run in your browser. We do not receive what you type into them unless you separately choose to send it to us.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and arrange a call.
- To provide, support and improve the automation work you have engaged us for.
- To send you material you have specifically asked for, such as a guide.
- To operate and improve this website.
- To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers
We use third-party services to run the business, and some of your information passes through them. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Vercel — website hosting and analytics.
- Cloudflare — the chat widget backend on this site.
- Email, calendar and messaging providers — to correspond with you and schedule calls.
Where we build automations for a client, those automations run on the tools that client has chosen, under that client's own accounts and agreements.
Cross-border processing
Some of the providers above operate servers outside South Africa, so your information may be processed in other countries.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client information for as long as we are working together and afterwards for as long as we need it to run the business and to meet record-keeping obligations under South African law. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting who can access it and relying on reputable providers. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we do not claim that ours is.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and to stop using it for direct marketing. Email automate@henno.ai and we will respond.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Cookies and local storage
This site stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser. The chat widget and the guide page use browser storage to remember your session. Vercel Analytics collects aggregated page-view data. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
